My Ocean Treasure

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Rule of Thirds.”

Some say that the older they get, the less value they put on objects – but not me. I loved to collect keepsakes as a child; I still do. I love to collect small tokens of remembrance – things that remind me of moments and people cherished – and store them away in shoe boxes.

One such keepsake, the most recent one at that, is this shell I picked up from the ocean bed, during my first scuba diving experience with my husband. It was fun, exhilarating – and now complete because of this little something I have to remember it by. 😀

A Fun Pun Card

It’s not even been a year since we got married, and I’m already stuck when it comes to buying things for my husband. For Valentine’s day, I didn’t want to get him some cliché heart plush toy with ‘Love you’ written on it – you get the picture, right? So instead, I came up with this idea to ‘make’ him a simple pun card. 😀 All I needed was a chart paper and some romantic puns.

What I got: THIS.
